Progress in Pigs, research as the basis for progress

Research is the basis for the TOPIGS breeding activities. Through its sister company IPG (Institute for Pig Genetics), TOPIGS conducts research into the biological backgrounds of certain traits. Knowledge about this biological background is important, as it prevents unexpected negative consequences of a certain selection and it helps to accelerate progress.
